Arch antimicrobials can be applied to most textiles and have a broad spectrum of activity. Incorporated using standard textile industry methods and equipment onto the fabric or end product stage of the textile manufacturing process, Arch antimicrobials do not themselves affect textile properties such as softness, hand, or absorbency. Application to fabrics with < 35% cellulosic (cotton, rayon / viscose) content will require use of a resin crosslinker and curing step.
